Job summary

Davidson is partnering with a world-leading wind energy company to recruit 2 Electrical Service Technicians for wind turbine operations across remote Western Australian mining sites. These 12-month contracts offer flexible FIFO rosters from Perth and potential for permanent roles, with training provided for suitable candidates.

You will join a small team, performing scheduled and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and support for reliability and performance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• A recognised electrical trade qualification and appropriate electrical licence.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding or troubleshooting.
• Previous mining, industrial maintenance or wind turbine experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• A Perth or surrounding WA location, or willingness to relocate.

Davidson is partnering with one of the world's leading wind energy companies, with an established global presence and growing operations across Australia.

We are seeking 2 x Electrical Service Technicians to support wind turbine operations across remote mining sites in Western Australia.

These are 12-month contract opportunities, with the potential to become permanent, offering flexible FIFO rosters from Perth and the opportunity to develop a long-term career in renewable energy.

Previous wind turbine experience is not essential - training will be provided for the right candidates.

The Role

Reporting to the WA Site Manager, you will work alongside another technician to maintain and support wind turbines across multiple remote sites.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conduct scheduled and reactive maintenance on wind turbines and associated electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Respond to turbine breakdowns and support planned maintenance activities.
• Support turbine reliability, availability and operational performance.

About You

We are looking for qualified electricians who enjoy hands-on technical work, solving problems and working in remote environments.

Ideally, you will offer:

• A recognised electrical trade qualification and appropriate electrical licence.
• Experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding or troubleshooting.
• Previous mining, industrial maintenance or wind turbine experience (highly regarded but not essential).
• A strong commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
• A Perth or surrounding WA location, or willingness to relocate.
