Job summary

Jet Solar is seeking an A-Grade Electrician to join our Lead Service Technician team in Victoria. You’ll inspect and service residential solar and battery systems, diagnose faults, and support customers with smart monitoring and apps, while working within a collaborative crew across a leading renewable energy company.

We provide training, a fully maintained vehicle, and opportunities to advance with SAA accreditation.

Qualifications

• Current A-Grade Electrical licence.
• SAA accreditation for PV and Battery Storage (advantageous, not essential).
• Current Victorian driver’s licence.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude and team-first mentality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections for new installations sold by our in-house sales team.
• Perform testing and fault finding on solar and battery systems.
• Carry out servicing and repairs on customer systems previously installed by our in-house installation teams.
• Assist customers with Wi‑Fi connectivity, monitoring platforms and manufacturer apps.
• Complete accurate and detailed inspection and service reports.
• Assist with the installation of solar PV and battery systems.

Due to this growth, we have created a new position within our service department and are looking for an A-Grade Electrician to join our team as Lead Service Technician. The role will involve assisting the team with inspections, diagnostics, warranty work, repairs and installations of residential solar and battery systems.

The Role

Whether you have extensive solar and battery experience or are an A-Grade Electrician looking to enter the renewable energy industry, this is a great opportunity to work with some of Australia's most advanced renewable energy systems and develop your career with one of the industry's leading companies. Previous solar and battery experience is advantageous but not essential, as Jet Solar will provide the training and support needed to develop your skills.

Your Responsibilities
