Job summary

Solar Revolution is seeking an A-Grade Electrician-Solar & Battery to join our Melbourne installation team. You will deliver residential and commercial solar PV and battery projects, ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship.

The role requires current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence, SAA Grid Connect and Battery accreditations, and the ability to work with modern solar technologies on diverse sites. It is a full-time position with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence or equivalent.
• Current SAA Grid Connect accreditation.
• Current SAA Battery accreditation.
• Valid Driver's Licence and Construction Induction White Card.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

A-Grade Electrician-Solar & Battery (SAA Accredited)

Working alongside an experienced installation team, you will be involved in delivering residential and commercial solar PV and battery projects throughout Melbourne.

Key responsibilities

Installing and connecting residential and commercial solar PV systems

Installing and commissioning battery energy storage systems

Working with hybrid inverters and modern solar and battery technologies

Performing electrical testing, troubleshooting and fault-finding

Ensuring installations comply with applicable Australian Standards, electrical safety requirements and relevant regulations

Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and installation quality

Completing commissioning documents and required compliance paperwork

Coordinating with the installation team to complete projects efficiently and professionally

Maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment

Representing Solar Revolution professionally when working at customer properties

About you

A current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence

Current SAA Grid Connect accreditation

Current SAA Battery accreditation

A current driver's licence

A valid Construction Induction White Card

A strong understanding of electrical safety and safe work practices

Good communication and problem-solving skills

A reliable, positive and professional attitude

The ability to work independently and as part of an experienced team

Previous hands-on experience in solar PV and battery installations is highly desirable
