Job summary

Omzen Electric + Solar in Melbourne's Inner South East is seeking a Solar Electrical Apprentice or Trade Assistant (2nd–4th year) with prior solar installation experience to join a hands-on residential solar, battery and EV charger installation team. You will hit the ground running on rooftop installs and learn best practices from skilled electricians.

You'll gain valuable on-site training, work on premium systems such as Sigenergy inverters and SolarEdge, and have access to one-to-one coaching.

Qualifications

• Suitable for a solar trade assistant or second, third or fourth year electrical apprentice with previous solar installation experience.
• Able to hit the rooftop install fundamentals and be ready to hit the ground running.
• Gain valuable experience and learn industry best-practice methods for residential solar, batteries and EV charger installations.

Responsibilities

The Role

Suitable for a solar trade assistant or second, third or fourth year electrical apprentice with previous solar installation experience, looking to build on a solid skill base in solar.

You’ll have already nailed the rooftop solar install fundamentals and be ready to hit the ground running.

Gain highly valuable experience and learn industry best-practice methods working on residential solar, batteries and EV charger installations.

Assist in delivering premium solar installations, acquiring new skills to up your installation game and bring a sense of enthusiasm and productivity to the work site.

You will be learning from a team of knowledgeable and experienced Solar Electricians with a great team environment, plus the opportunity for one-to-one training.
