Job summary

Ace Materials Handling Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Service Technician to join our Ipswich-based team. You will support on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs on a variety of materials handling equipment, primarily at Amberley and other client sites.

We welcome candidates with a background in commercial, domestic or industrial electrical work and will provide internal training. A company service vehicle and mobile phone are included for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• White Card required and ability to obtain First Aid/CPR certifications.
• Current Driver's License and reliable transport are essential.
• High attention to detail with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to diagnose and fault-find on electrical/mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs on materials handling equipment.
• Provide breakdown assistance and on-site support at Ipswich/Amberley sites.
• Work across various client sites, including defence, civil, aviation and mining sectors.
• Participate in safety and training programs as required.

ACE Materials Handling Pty Ltd is an Australian owned engineering and materials handling company which has been operating since 1991 with branches in Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Gladstone, and Townsville. We provide services to clients in all industries through inspection, service, maintenance & repair of their materials handling equipment and other assets.

We have launched a new division which is focused on emerging products we have secured though agency agreements in robotics and automation for defence industry and heavy manufacturing including mining equipment.

This role will see the technician completing a variety of tasks on automatic doors, overhead cranes, vehicle hoists, industrial equipment, mobile machinery and a wide range of materials handling equipment on various clients sites. Our clients range from industrial, civil, government, aviation, marina and defence, providing a diverse range of work to those who seek it, with the opportunity to primarily work in specific areas noted for the right candidate.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Electrical Service Technician to provide excellent support to our Ipswich based team in a full-time capacity, primarily working on-site at Amberley supporting our Defence works however, working at other locations as required. We welcome Electrical candidates with a background in commercial, domestic or industrial as we will provide internal training for the right candidate looking to embark in our industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for undertaking high-quality inspections, servicing, maintenance, repairs and breakdown assistance for our customers on a variety of materials handling equipment. Our clients range from industrial, civil, government, aviation, marina and defence, providing a diverse range of work to those who seek it, with the opportunity to primarily work in specific areas noted for the right candidate.
