Job summary

GDP Group is seeking a technically competent Electrician to join our BMU Division in Sydney. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvements on building maintenance units (BMUs) to ensure reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have fault-finding skills, PLC experience, WHS/OH&S knowledge, and the ability to work in a small team with minimal supervision. Full working rights and a White Card are required.

Qualifications

• Full Working Rights.
• Australian Driver's License.

• Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertake planned maintenance activities on BMUs and related systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve breakdowns to restore operations quickly.
• Deploy long-term, best-practice solutions to increase reliability.
• Adapt methods and procedures based on on-site requirements.
• Collaborate with the team and provide technical and customer service support.

GDP Service, repair, upgrade, modify and replacebuilding maintenance units (BMU’s). You will be entrusted with adapting standard methods and procedures by applying your knowledge, prior work experiences and requirements.
