Job summary

Star Group in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead the client relationship for a major health sector maintenance contract across 85+ sites. You will own commercial delivery and work closely with the Service Coordinator and field team to meet performance targets.

The role requires proven account/contract management, strong commercial acumen, and confident communication with senior clients.

• Collaborate with Service Coordinator and field team to resolve issues and stay on track
• Manage budgets, forecasting and commercial reporting for the contract
• Represent Star Group in client meetings and site visits
• Champion safety, quality and compliance across every site

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you'll own the commercial and client relationship for our health sector maintenance contract across 85+ sites in Western Sydney, working closely with the Service Coordinator and field team to ensure delivery expectations are met.

• Acting as the primary point of contact for the client, building a trusted, long-term relationship
• Overseeing the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across health sector sites
• Monitoring contract performance against KPIs and reporting on outcomes
• Identifying opportunities to grow the account and improve service delivery
• Working closely with the Service Coordinator and technicians to resolve issues and keep work on track
• Managing budgets, forecasting and commercial reporting for the contract
• Representing Star Group in client meetings, site visits and reviews
• Championing safety, quality and compliance across every site and every job

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in account or contract management, ideally within electrical, facilities or trade services
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, KPIs and reporting
• Confident, senior-level communicator, comfortable presenting to and managing client relationships
• Experience in or a strong understanding of electrical maintenance contracting (highly regarded)
• A leader who can motivate and support a field-based team through a coordinator
• Sound problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
