Job summary

New Edge Group is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Queensland operations, based in Brisbane. You will take ownership of electrical projects across commercial, industrial and logistics sectors, collaborating with builders, developers, clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

This role requires proven experience managing budgets, schedules and stakeholder relationships, with a strong focus on WHS and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar project delivery role.
• Experience delivering commercial and/or industrial electrical projects.
• Electrical trade qualification and/or relevant electrical engineering or construction qualification.
• Strong understanding of electrical services, drawings and specifications.
• Experience managing budgets, procurement, variations and subcontractors.
• Strong commercial and contract awareness.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to lead and support site and project teams.
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements.
• Strong computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from planning through to completion.
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performance.
• Review project scopes, specifications, drawings and contractual requirements.
• Develop and manage project programs, milestones and critical dates.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Provide leadership and support to site and project teams.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting.
• Manage variations, procurement and project documentation.
• Liaise with builders, clients, consultants and other contractors.
• Identify and manage project, commercial and delivery risks.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety.
• Manage testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.

About the Role

New Edge Group is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Queensland operations, based in Brisbane.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Project Manager to take ownership of electrical projects across the commercial, industrial and logistics sectors, working with builders, developers, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.
