Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar delivery role.
• Experience delivering commercial and/or industrial electrical projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to lead site and project teams with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from planning through to completion.
• Control budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performance.
• Review project scopes, drawings and contractual requirements.
• Develop and manage project programs and milestones.
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials.
• Provide leadership to site and project teams.

About the Role

New Edge Group is seeking an experienced Intermediate/Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Victorian operations, based in Melbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded Project Manager to take ownership of electrical projects across the commercial, industrial and logistics sectors, working closely with builders, developers, clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical projects from planning through to completion
• Manage project budgets, costs, forecasts and financial performance
• Review project scopes, specifications, drawings and contractual requirements
• Develop and manage project programs, milestones and critical dates
• Coordinate labour, subcontractors, suppliers and materials
• Provide leadership and support to site and project teams
• Monitor project progress and provide regular reporting
• Manage variations, procurement and project documentation
• Liaise with builders, clients, consultants and other contractors
• Identify and manage project, commercial and delivery risks
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, project specifications and quality requirements
• Maintain a strong focus on Workplace Health and Safety
• Manage testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

Skills & Experience

• To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar project delivery role
• Experience delivering commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
• Strong understanding of electrical services, drawings and specifications
• Experience managing budgets, procurement, variations and subcontractors
• Strong commercial and contract awareness
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead and support site and project teams
• Strong understanding of WHS requirements
• Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• A professional, positive and solutions-focused approach
