Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead HV/MV electrical infrastructure projects in Sydney. You will drive end-to-end delivery across planning, procurement, and construction for major data centre and healthcare sites with a Tier 1 contractor.

You will manage budgets, schedules and risks, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and ensure safety and quality compliance on high-profile projects in Sydney’s infrastructure landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the contracting industry.
• Demonstrated experience delivering HV and/or MV electrical infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure systems, including installation, testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of HV and MV electrical infrastructure projects from planning through to completion.
• Oversee budgets, programming, forecasting and cost control to meet targets.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, site teams and consultants to maintain timelines and quality.
• Manage project risks, variations and contractual obligations throughout the lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety requirements and client expectations.

The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a Tier 1 electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of major data centre and hospital projects across Sydney.

With a solid reputation for delivering complex electrical infrastructure projects, the business is looking for a Project Manager with experience across High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) infrastructure to support current and upcoming projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor with long-term project security, major projects on the horizon and the chance to work across some of Sydney's key infrastructure developments.
