Job summary

SEEK is seeking an Electrical Project Manager in Western Sydney to deliver major electrical packages from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning and handover on flagship projects.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with clients, subcontractors and head contractors, manage budgets and schedules, control variations and risk, and ensure safety, quality and contractual compliance while building long‑term client relationships.

Qualifications

An opportunity is available for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established Western Sydney electrical contractor with decades of industry experience and a strong reputation for delivering complex projects in partnership with some of the country's most recognised head contractors.

With projects spanning data centres, healthcare, commercial construction, critical infrastructure and more, this is an opportunity to take ownership of major electrical packages, work alongside leading construction teams and play a key role in delivering high-profile projects.

The Opportunity

As Electrical Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of electrical projects from planning and procurement through to construction, commissioning and handover.

Working closely with site teams, clients, subcontractors and head contractors, you will drive project performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of major electrical projects and packages.
• Overseeing project budgets, cost control, forecasting and financial performance.
• Leading procurement, subcontractor management and supplier relationships.
• Coordinating site teams, engineers, supervisors and key project stakeholders.
• Managing project programmes, variations, claims and contractual obligations.
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality and project specifications.
• Building strong relationships with clients and head contractors.
• Identifying and resolving project risks while maintaining programme and delivery targets.

About You

You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager who understands the demands of large-scale construction and has the technical, commercial and leadership capability to deliver complex electrical projects.

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience managing electrical projects within commercial construction, infrastructure, data centres, healthcare or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical services, project delivery and construction methodologies.
• Demonstrated capability in project financial management, procurement and contract administration.
• Experience working with Tier 1 or Tier 2 head contractors and managing multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on safety, quality and delivery.
