Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment — Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to deliver electrical packages on large-scale construction projects in Melbourne. You will oversee end-to-end delivery from planning through commissioning, ensuring safety, schedule and budget compliance within a Tier 1 contractor environment.

You will lead project teams, manage stakeholders and drive successful outcomes with a commercially minded approach, leveraging strong electrical engineering

Qualifications

• Experience delivering electrical packages for major construction projects.
• Strong electrical construction, installation, testing and commissioning knowledge.
• Proven ability to lead project teams and coordinate stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of electrical projects and packages from planning to commissioning.
• Develop and manage programmes, budgets, procurement schedules and delivery strategies.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, cash flow, variations and commercial performance.
• Ensure delivery in line with contractual requirements, specs and Australian Standards.
• Oversee quality assurance, safety compliance and project documentation.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Provide regular reporting on progress and risks.
