Job summary

Gold Coast Infrastructure Solutions (GCIS), a Ventia - Downer joint venture, seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to deliver brownfield projects across the full lifecycle—from planning and design through construction and handover. Full-time permanent role based at Bundall, QLD with travel across the Gold Coast region.

Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to operations, documenting progress, ensuring standards compliance, and managing budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (EA recognised).
• Strong knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in water/wastewater or asset-intensive industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise to the operations team to improve work processes and service delivery.
• Develop project documentation including technical reports, scope of works, construction methodologies and project progress.
• Review project documents for compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
• Implement quality assurance into project delivery.
• Assist with tender documentation, process and procurement activities.
• Ensure design is completed within expected timeframes, aligned with capital budgets and documented accordingly.
