Job summary

RSGx is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to provide engineering and technical support and coordinate between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to achieve successful project outcomes. The role will contribute across mining, renewables, utilities and infrastructure within Western Australia, supporting safe execution and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in power, lighting, control and communications.
Commercial experience with delays/variation claims.
Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings.
Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide guidance off and onsite via technical understanding of electrical project work scopes.
Liaise with Engineers, Technicians, and Engineering Managers to determine scheduling and management of resources.
Monitor safe execution of the project.
Provide project reporting on progress, commercial, schedule, etc.
Perform quality checks on project work, including coordination with third party inspection if required.
Ensure approval of correct and timely paperwork for a seamless monthly billing process.
Ensure project schedules are current, QA documentation is reviewed and transmitted to client.
Complete project RFI, TQ and NCRs, and maintain registers.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated with register maintained.
Scope new projects and assist with technical input, sourcing of supplier pricing, quoting of work.
