Job summary

Pensar in Stapylton, Australia is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our power team to deliver fit-for-purpose electrical infrastructure projects. You will lead HV and LV initiatives, coordinate design, construction and commissioning, and ensure safety, quality, programme and budget objectives are met.

You will manage project commercial outcomes and mentor Site Engineers and graduates while driving continuous improvement across project delivery and systems.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering electrical infrastructure, power distribution, industrial or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of HV and LV systems, commissioning, contract administration and project controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client and team relationships

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of HV and LV electrical infrastructure projects.
• Manage project commercial outcomes including forecasting, procurement, subcontractor management, progress claims and variations.
• Coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities, working closely with clients, consultants, suppliers and site teams.
• Support and mentor Site Engineers and graduates while driving continuous improvement across project delivery and project systems
