Talent Focus is seeking an experienced Project Electrical Engineer to join our growing engineering and infrastructure team, delivering across complex electrical projects and critical infrastructure environments. You will develop and review electrical designs and documentation, produce AutoCAD drawings, and work across switchboards, switchgear and cable schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in electrical project engineering, ideally within MEP, construction, infrastructure or industrial environments.
• Strong AutoCAD design experience.
• Good understanding of electrical systems, switchboards and switchgear.
• Knowledge of fault current, cable sizing, termination schedules and overload protection.
• Experience in the generator space is essential.
• Strong technical documentation and design capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A stable employment history with a demonstrated commitment to previous employers.
• Ability to work independently and contribute to a collaborative engineering team.

Responsabilités

• Develop and review electrical engineering designs and documentation.
• Produce and interpret electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Work across electrical systems, switchboards and switchgear.
• Prepare and review cable schedules, termination schedules and technical specifications.
• Perform and understand fault current calculations, load assessments and overload protection.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support across project delivery.
• For the senior position, assist with leading the engineering function and supporting the wider team.
