Job summary

Class Power Systems is seeking a practical and organised Project Engineer to manage a growing portfolio of generator installation projects. You will coordinate projects from tender through to installation, commissioning and handover, working with management, suppliers, subcontractors, technicians and clients to ensure delivery on time and to spec.

The role focuses on project management and coordination with regular site involvement to monitor progress, resolve issues, and work alongside

Qualifications

• Experience in project engineering, coordination or management within electrical, mechanical, construction or industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong organisational and multi-project prioritisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects from planning through to handover, including schedules, budgets, milestones and outstanding works.
• Coordinate equipment orders, supplier quotations and delivery schedules for generators and associated equipment.
• Review drawings and specifications, resolve technical queries and coordinate mechanical and electrical installation requirements.
• Monitor installation progress, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and assist with practical site activities as required.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, consultants, technicians and internal management to keep projects moving.
• Maintain project records, track variations/defects, and coordinate commissioning reports and handover documentation.
• Assist the wider Project & Engineering team with other tasks and be prepared to get hands-on with site activities when required.
