Design & Build Recruitment in Kings Park, NSW seeks an Electrical Project Engineer to manage electrical projects from design to commissioning in a dynamic team. You will coordinate across engineers, suppliers and clients to deliver high‑quality electrical solutions.

The role offers opportunities at Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer level, with ownership of projects and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure technical and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or strong electrical engineering background.
• Experience in electrical project engineering within manufacturing, power generation, MEP or electrical infrastructure environment.
• Exposure to generators and switchgear, and ability to interpret electrical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate electrical engineering projects from initial design through delivery and commissioning.
• Prepare, review and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation.
• Utilise AutoCAD to develop, review and modify electrical designs.
• Work on generator systems, switchboards, switchgear and related electrical infrastructure.
• Review electrical calculations including fault current, overload protection and cable sizing.
• Support selection, integration and specification of electrical equipment.
• Consider acoustic requirements and other technical constraints in design.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to meet technical and commercial requirements.
