• Review drawings and specifications for compliance with Australian standards.

Job Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Goulburn, NSW (Relocation to Goulburn or FIFO arrangements available)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of electrical projects across industrial and infrastructure environments. This role requires a combination of project engineering and site-based experience, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide on-site engineering support, including installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and project requirements.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, manage risks, and support commissioning and handover activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Project Engineer within industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, or power generation projects.
• Strong project engineering and site engineering experience, including installation and commissioning activities.
• Experience working with electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and control systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Australian electrical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Goulburn or work on a FIFO roster.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in hydroelectric, renewable energy, power generation, or heavy industrial projects.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, protection relays, or high-voltage electrical systems.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and contractor management.
• White Card and relevant Australian electrical certifications (preferred).
