Core Talent is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Brisbane team in Fortitude Valley. You will lead engineering delivery on high voltage and utility-scale renewable energy projects, coordinating with customers, project managers, suppliers and specialists from design through to commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical preferred).
• Around 3+ years' experience in High Voltage, utilities, renewables, transmission or distribution.
• CPEng registered, or working towards it.
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Problem solver who enjoys technical challenges.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Deliver technical solutions for High Voltage and utility-scale renewables.
• Support testing, installation and commissioning.
• Collaborate with suppliers and supply chain teams to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessments and contract management.
• Provide technical guidance to customers during delivery.

About the Role

A well regarded engineering business is growing its Brisbane team and needs an experienced Electrical Project Engineer. You'll be part of the engineering delivery on complex High Voltage and utility-scale renewable energy projects, working with customers, project managers, suppliers, contractors and technical specialists from design through to commissioning. The focus is getting projects delivered safely, on time, on budget and to a high standard.

What you'll do

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities across the project lifecycle
• Deliver technical solutions for High Voltage and utility-scale renewable projects
• Support testing, installation and commissioning
• Work with suppliers and supply chain teams to make sure technical requirements are met
• Contribute to project planning, risk assessments and contract management
• Support customers with technical guidance through delivery
• Share engineering best practice and push for better ways of working
• Keep safety front and centre on every project

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical preferred
• Around 3+ years' experience in High Voltage, utilities, renewables, transmission, distribution or a related field
• CPEng registered, or working towards it
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills
• Experience working in multidisciplinary project teams
