Australia’s rapid growth in renewable energy investments is creating a strong demand for service offered at FortEng. As a result, we are working to expand our team. We are seeking experienced electrical engineers to join our Power Systems team based in our Brisbane office in Spring Hill.

FortEng is an Engineering Consultancy specializing in Power & Energy Systems with offices and Hobart. Our clients include Power Utilities (Generators, Transmission NSPs ana Distribution NSPs), large industrial organizations, mining and rail operations, and renewable energy developers. We support new and existing power and energy systems through power system studies; performance & compliance testing and assessments; model validation testing and analysis: power quality services; and traditional, renewable and hybrid energy system development and investigations.

Your commitment to us:

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a collaborative approach
• Electrical Engineering degree (Member of Engineers Australia or eligible for membership as professional engineer)
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in design and modelling power system projects
• Experience with PSCAD, DIgSILENT and/or PSS®E software
• Self-motivated with a strong desire and ability to acquire technical and business knowledge/skills
