Job summary

Ampcontrol is seeking a proactive Electrical Project Coordinator to join our growing team in Mackay. This full-time role reports to the Service Delivery Manager and focuses on delivering technical and project activities within the Project Delivery Team.

You will coordinate project execution, planning, estimating, scheduling, and procurement, while managing costs and supplier relationships to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven organisation, scheduling, and estimating skills.
• Experience with MS Office and Microsoft Project.
• Electrical Trade Certificate is desirable.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and team orientation.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Project execution, planning and coordination of HV electrical switchgear.
• Review customer project scope and estimating.
• Scheduling.
• Procurement of estimated materials.
• Subcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturing.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Liaise with customers/clients and external companies as required.
• Customer updates and reporting.
• Coordinate, attend and when required chair project kick off or progress review meetings.
• Understanding of design process.
• Establish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and continued forward forecast of repeat work.
• Commitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user.
