Ampcontrol in Mackay is seeking a proactive Electrical Project Engineer who thrives on organisation and strong planning, scheduling and estimating skills. The role is full-time and sits within the Project Delivery Team, reporting to the Service Delivery Manager.

You will coordinate delivery of all technical and project activities, manage costs, liaise with customers, and chair kick-off/progress meetings as required. Based in Mackay, this position offers growth within a leading engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution, planning and HV electrical switchgear.
• Review customer project scope and estimating.
• Scheduling.
• Coordinate project documentation.
• Procurement of estimated materials.
• Subcontractor management – paint / heavy manufacturing.
• Monitor and control project costs.
• Liaise with customers/clients and external companies as required.
• Customer updates and reporting.
• Coordinate, attend and chair project kick-off or progress review meetings when required.
• Understanding of design process.
• Establish and maintain positive client relations to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Commitment to health and safety and delivering high quality product for the end user.

We are seeking a proactive Electrical Project Engineer who thrives off being organised and has pronounced planning, scheduling, and estimating skills!

Based in Mackay, this role is a full-time opportunity reporting directly to the Service Delivery Manager playing a key role within our Project Delivery Team.

You will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of all technical and project related activities, specifically:
