Job summary

KBR Australia is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Platforms) to support critical Platform Systems across the DASSPO PBS. You will provide SME guidance, lead design tasks, and ensure certification and safety compliance in a collaborative Defence environment.

Ideal candidates hold a BE in Electrical Engineering, are Chartered-eligible, and bring 5+ years of related experience with security clearances.

Qualifications

• Experience in requirements development, design review and acceptance within regulated technical frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex electrical platform systems.
• Eligible for professional engineering membership.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME guidance on platform systems engineering for PBS.
• Deliver engineering outputs for changes to schedule.
• Ensure compliance with policies, plans and processes.
• Oversee certification, configuration management and safety aspects.
• Conduct risk assessments and design reviews.
