Tasmanian Catering Solutions, now part of PinPoint Group, seeks a Business and Technical Manager to drive overall business performance in Tasmania. You will oversee operations, budgeting, partnerships, customer relations, and strategic growth, while remaining connected to technical work as needed.

Role requires a qualified electrician with strong management experience, financial acumen, and the ability to lead a team and report to the CEO and Board.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with strong technical experience.
• Experience in business, operational, or general management.
• Strong financial management and budgeting capability.
• Experience preparing management or board reports.
• Commercial acumen and ability to build strategic partnerships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Field Service Management software.
• Current Australian Electrical Licence.
• Current Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the business.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial performance.
• Monitor business profitability, cash flow, and key performance indicators.
• Prepare and present board reports and operational updates.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
• Manage and develop staff, fostering a positive and high-performing culture.
• Oversee workplace health and safety compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities and develop strategic commercial partnerships.
• Provide technical leadership to the service team.
