Australian Trade Training College (ATTC) is looking for an Electrical Mentor to support students in a hands-on training environment—while we support you to become a qualified Trainer.

This full-time role offers a paid pathway to Trainer (Certificate IV in Training & Assessment), career progression, and the chance to stay connected to the trade with reduced physical demands. You’ll mentor students, keep the workshop safe and organised, and ensure tools are workshop-ready.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification required (essential).
• Willingness to complete Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE).
• Strong communication and mentoring ability.

Responsibilities

• Support students in practical workshop activities
• Coach and guide students to achieve milestones
• Assist the Trainer with student engagement and progress
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised training environment
• Help ensure tools and equipment are workshop-ready
