Job summary

BlueScope is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Western Port maintenance team at Hastings. The role ensures maximum up-time and reliability of production line equipment through hands-on maintenance, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.

You'll work in a 24x7 manufacturing environment, collaborating with a team to drive safety, quality and efficiency while participating in planning and improvement initiatives. Shift coverage is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake day-to-day maintenance activities using trade skills; perform root-cause investigations and document findings; recommend robust solutions.
• Monitor, analyse, report and improve processes; document work in the Maintenance Management System for process line equipment.
• Work within the maintenance team to plan and support continuous improvement initiatives for plant reliability.
