Job summary

BlueScope is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Planner for our Western Port Manufacturing facility. You will coordinate and plan maintenance activities, drive shutdown plans, and support asset management across 24x7 operations in a heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• An electrical trade qualification is preferred; electrical engineering qualifications with practical experience will also be considered.
• Demonstrated experience in planning and scheduling inspections and maintenance of site equipment.
• Solid experience with SAP and MS Office suite.
• Experience in determining root cause through investigation processes to recommend corrective measures.
• Highly developed communication and influencing skills with ability to build relationships.
• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and others.

Responsibilities

• Schedule maintenance work and perform detailed planning of work.
• Develop, implement, and manage detailed shutdown maintenance plans and schedules.
• Coordinate resources, labour, and materials for shutdown maintenance projects.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers to attain cost-effective methods of execution and delivery of planned work.
• Coordinate task dependencies and ensure integration of maintenance activities with other shutdown operations.
• Capture and review maintenance history to drive strategy improvement.
• Analyze prior maintenance work orders to ensure follow-up work is captured and actioned.
• Support alignment of safety, quality and plant priorities with key stakeholders.
• Provide supervision to internal and external resources.
• Manage and control maintenance spares utilisation, refurbishment and replenishment.
• Perform administrative activities such as raising purchase orders, invoice management and cost review
