Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the Australian service team. You will maintain large-scale automated equipment, including cranes, conveyors and sorting systems, and keep operations running safely and reliably around the clock.

The role requires a Certificate III in Electrotechnology with a current Electrical Contractor or Supervisor licence, 3–5 years' experience in automation or industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs and HMIs), and a readiness to

Qualifications

Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current Electrical Contractor or Supervisor licence.
3–5 years' experience in automation or industrial control systems, including PLCs, VFDs and HMIs.
Comfortable fault-finding in a fast-paced, 24/7 operation.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on automated cranes, conveyors and sorting equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical faults across industrial control systems
Use system data to identify trends and improve performance and reliability
Provide technical support to the wider operations team
Work safely and ensure WHS compliance at all times
