Job summary

Core Talent is recruiting for a skilled industrial maintenance technician to service a high-volume processing facility in Alexandria. You will maintain and repair equipment, support planned maintenance and respond to site breakdowns to ensure seamless production.

The role requires an Australian Electrical Licence, strong fault-finding skills, and experience with pneumatics or automated machinery. Full Australian work rights and a permanent day-shift position are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid Australian Electrical Licence (Cert III Electrotechnology) and full Australian work rights.
• Strong industrial maintenance background with solid mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with pneumatics, steam/gas utilities, or automated machinery is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault-find, and repair industrial processing equipment, dryers, ironers, and conveyors.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults during breakdowns, start-ups and shutdowns.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and log work via the site management system.
• Work with site utilities including gas, steam systems, pneumatics, and water lines.
• Assist with machinery upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
• Maintain site safety standards and report hazard risks.

The Role

You will maintain and repair high-volume industrial machinery, support planned maintenance schedules, and respond to site breakdowns to ensure seamless production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault-find, and repair industrial processing equipment, dryers, ironers, and conveyor systems.


• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults during breakdowns, start-ups, and shutdowns.


• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and log work via the site management system.

Candidate Requirements
