Job summary

Vanderlande is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to support a key customer system in the Greater Sydney area. You will perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance on high-end automated material handling solutions, ensuring reliability and safety.

The role requires an electrical qualification and relevant licenses, with 3–5 years of field experience. Working 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster at an on-site location, you will contribute to operational excellence and customer

Qualifications

Electrical qualification required (Cert III in Electrotechnology) and appropriate contractor/supervisor licenses.
3–5 years of relevant experience as a service engineer/technician is expected.
Strong understanding of industrial controls (PLCs, VFDs, HMIs) and electrical safety.
Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) highly regarded.
Experience with logistics, postal sorting, and baggage handling systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Conduct electrical maintenance inspections and preventive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical systems on high-end automated material handling equipment.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Assist with mechanical duties and general site maintenance as needed.
