Job summary

Skilled Jobs Australia is seeking an experienced electrician to join our farming client’s Hillston NSW processing and packaging plant. The role is hands-on and focuses on ensuring machinery runs at optimum capacity with safety first and minimal downtime.

You will perform electrical maintenance, troubleshoot faults, manage spare parts, and record maintenance data in the Maintenance software, while complying with WHS procedures. This full-time role offers $85,000-$95,000 p.a. plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry tertiary qualifications and electrical licensing.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Proven experience in reactive and preventative electrical maintenance.
• Sound experience in fault finding and fast breakdown response.
• Familiar with recording data on MEX or equivalent programs.
• Responsible for ordering spare parts and maintenance equipment, ensure adequate stock.
• Should be safety conscious and follow WHS procedures.
• Maintain servicing and planned schedule maintenance to prevent delays or breakdowns and ensure machinery runs optimally.
• Ensure servicing and repairs are carried out in accordance with manufacturers' warranties.
• Manage reactive maintenance to minimize disruption times.

• Ensure machinery runs at optimum capacity with safety first.
• Record maintenance data in maintenance software.
• Order spare parts and maintain stock levels.
• Support proactive maintenance scheduling to prevent downtime.
