Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an Electrical Leading Hand to join the Duketon maintenance team on an 8:6 FIFO roster ex-Perth. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will allocate tasks, supervise electricians and oversee day-to-day activities, while ensuring safe work practices and adherence to procedures.

This role requires a WA electrical licence, HV switching certs within 3 years, and solid experience in fixed plant mining.

Qualifications

• Current WA electrical licence.
• HV switching certificate within the last 3 years.
• Significant demonstrated experience in a fixed plant mining environment.
• Management, health and safety and human resources focused.
• Task prioritisation, time management for self and direct reports.
• Hold a valid manual driver’s licence.
• S26 certificate.

Responsibilities

• Work scheduling and supervision of electrical tradespersons in maintenance activities.
• Allocating maintenance coverage for breakdowns.
• Inspecting the workplace for hazards and promoting safe work practices.
• Resolving on the job work issues.
• Instructing team members in work practices.
• Ensuring work procedures are followed.
• Ensuring requisite materials, including safety equipment, are available to team members.
• Referring unresolved issues and problems to the Supervisor.
