Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Electrician to join the maintenance team on a FIFO basis from Perth, WA. The role focuses on electrical maintenance across fixed plant equipment to support reliable, safe processing operations in a mining context.

Successful candidates will have a recognized electrical trade qualification, WA licence, and proven fault-finding skills with experience on crushers, screens and conveyors.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and WA Electrical Licence required.
• Experience in fixed plant electrical maintenance within mining or heavy industry.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults across crushers, screens, conveyors and related processing equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot motors, motor control centres, variable speed drives and control circuits.
• Follow site isolation, lockout/tagout and permit-to-work procedures.
