Seek an experienced Electrical Leading Hand for mining and power infrastructure projects in Queensland. You will coordinate a crew, perform hands-on electrical work, and ensure safety, quality and project delivery.

Ideal candidates bring an Australian Electrical Trade Qualification, current electrical licence, and proven leadership in mining or heavy industrial settings. You will mentor apprentices and liaise with project managers and clients on site.

Formación

• Must hold Australian Electrical Trade Qualification and current electrical licence.
• Experience leading a crew on mining/power projects.
• Strong fault finding and problem-solving skills.
• Safe work practices and risk management knowledge.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and regional roster flexibility.
• Exposure to HV electrical systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate electricians and site personnel.
• Hands-on electrical installation and project delivery.
• Plan daily activities, labor, materials and equipment.
• Allocate work and manage site priorities.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety discussions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical, safety and quality standards.
• Mentor tradespeople and apprentices.
• Troubleshoot electrical and operational issues.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, customers and other contractors.
• Monitor progress, productivity and resource needs.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Maintain high safety and workmanship standards.
