Job summary
Production Reality Group Pty Ltd is seeking a junior to intermediate Field Service Technician (Electrical) to grow into robotics and automation. The role involves installation, commissioning and servicing of robotics and industrial automation across Australia and New Zealand, with opportunities to progress to Lead Technician (Electrical).
Ideal candidates will hold an Electrical A-grade licence with a passion for automation, teamwork and the ability to work autonomously on diverse projects
Qualifications
- Electrical A-grade licence (Australia) and at least 1 year experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Perform installation tasks in line with Australian safety requirements.
- Basic understanding of PLCs and controls (AB/Siemens).
- Basic understanding of robot programming (Kuka/ABB).
- Prepare/update electrical drawings and maintenance records.
- Support other Field Service Engineers with service commitments.
Responsibilities
- Assist design engineers to create new automation systems.
- Fault finding and problem solving on automation equipment.
- Learn automation control systems and robotics.
- Support field service installations at client sites across Australia and NZ.
