About The Role

Based in Silverwater, this newly created position will see you working closely with multiple project teams to prepare accurate and competitive estimates across electrical and data communications projects of varying size and complexity.

You will play a pivotal role in securing future work while helping deliver innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely estimates for medium to large-scale electrical and Data Centre projects
• Review and interpret tender documentation, specifications, technical drawings and project requirements
• Analyse project risks, costs, labour requirements and material take-offs
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers and clients to develop commercially viable solutions
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing
• Support project planning activities and align estimates with operational and budget objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the industry
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to estimating team members
• Review and consult on complex estimates across multiple project teams
  
  
  

About You

You're a commercially astute estimator who thrives on technical challenges and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. Most importantly, you have proven experience pricing work within critical infrastructure and Data Centre environments.

To Be Successful You Will Have:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrical Estimator
• Experience with Data Centres a plus
• Demonstrated experience estimating Data Centre projects
• Trade background in electrical and/or data communications
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, infrastructure projects and estimating software
• Ability to interpret plans, specifications and technical documentation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet competing deadlines
