Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG), based in Sydney, seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to support major infrastructure tenders across renewables, water, wastewater and energy sectors.

You will prepare detailed first-principles electrical estimates for multidisciplinary projects, interpret electrical drawings and specifications, and collaborate with engineering, procurement and delivery teams to develop competitive tenders and identify value engineering opportunities.

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
• Strong first-principles estimating capability across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water, wastewater, renewables, energy or related infrastructure sectors.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specifications.
• Understanding of electrical interfaces with civil, structural and mechanical construction.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Expert Estimation, CATS or similar software.

We're working with a leading Australian civil infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support major projects across the renewables, water, wastewater and energy sectors.

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is a majority Indigenous owned recruitment business registered with Supply Nation, specialising in civil engineering, infrastructure, construction and major project recruitment. We partner closely with contractors, engineering consultancies and delivery organisations to place high quality technical professionals. Based in Sydney, the role involves preparing detailed first-principles electrical estimates for multidisciplinary projects incorporating civil, structural and electrical construction. You'll work closely with engineering, procurement and delivery teams to develop competitive tenders, assess project risks and identify value engineering opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Electrical estimating experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
