Job summary

Based in Sydney, Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) seeks an experienced Electrical Estimator to support major civil infrastructure tenders across renewables, water and energy sectors. You’ll prepare first-principles electrical estimates, work with engineering, procurement and delivery teams, and identify value engineering opportunities.

Ideal candidates will have tier 1/2 contractor experience, strong Excel and familiarity with Expert Estimation or CATS, plus the ability to interpret complex

Qualifications

• Electrical estimating experience with Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
• First-principles estimating capability across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water, wastewater, renewables or related sectors.
• Ability to interpret electrical drawings, schematics and technical specs.
• Understanding of electrical interfaces with civil, structural and mechanical construction.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Expert Estimation, CATS or similar software.

Electrical Estimator | Civil Infrastructure | Sydney

We're working with a leading Australian civil infrastructure contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support major projects across the renewables, water, wastewater and energy sectors.

Based in Sydney, the role involves preparing detailed first-principles electrical estimates for multidisciplinary projects incorporating civil, structural and electrical construction. You'll work closely with engineering, procurement and delivery teams to develop competitive tenders, assess project risks and identify value engineering opportunities.

What we're looking for:

• Electrical estimating experience with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 civil infrastructure contractor.
