Job summary

AE Smith, a long-established Australian leader in HVAC, building services and electrical markets, is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support its Maintenance & Small Projects division in NSW. You will prepare high-quality estimates and build relationships to grow sales and service delivery in the region.

This role requires local estimator experience, electrical trade or engineering qualification preferred, deep knowledge of NSW trades, and a commitment to HSEQ and client collaboration on major

Qualifications

• Trade or Engineering Qualification (Electrical) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years local experience in an estimator role.
• At least 10 years experience in projects/maintenance in some capacity.
• Deep knowledge of Australian trades and services industry (NSW).

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and detailed estimates aligned with technical specs and requirements.
• Provide technical advice to project managers, supervisors, and peers.
• Lead and develop a strong HSEQ culture within your area.
• Establish and maintain effective client relationships.
• Participate in strategic planning for growth and service delivery improvements.
• Conduct site inspections and field audits to gather insights and develop reliable estimates.
• Identify and manage commercial and technical risks associated with projects.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Job Summary

As an Electrical Estimator, you'll support our Maintenance & Small Projects business by delivering high-quality estimates and ensuring efficient service. You'll build key relationships and help grow sales and service management in the region for long-term success.
