Job summary

PHE Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team on a South Australian project, operating on a 2 and 1 FIFO roster with flights, accommodation, and meal allowances provided. The successful candidate will act as the key technical resource, managing drawings, P&IDs, electrical layouts, and 3D model deliverables, while contributing to schedules, risk management, and cost improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years post-graduate experience in major projects delivery.
• Experience in materials handling and minerals processing environments.
• Ability to manage time and conflicting priorities in a busy setting.
• Strong ability to interpret P&IDs and electrical layouts.
• Experience with 3D models and model deliverables (dwg/nwd/ifc).

Responsibilities

• Be the key technical resource for the project, familiar with drawings, specs, standards.
• Develop construction work packs and review technical/quality documents.
• Develop detailed work method statements and identify risks/opportunities.
• Identify cost-improvement initiatives on work packages.
• Procure contractor-supplied items and coordinate with purchasing/workshops/site.
• Input into project schedules and ensure milestones are met with stakeholders.
• Assist in estimating variation works and major scopes.
• Provide input into daily/weekly/monthly reporting and project claims.
• Communicate changes to control safety and project objectives.
• Participate in risk assessments and manage project risks.
• Red-line drawing management and MDR documentation.
• Assist to configure, customize & manage Completion Management Software (PIMS).
