Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with mining exposure
• Strong asset management and reliability background
• Experience with LV/HV systems in mining
• Knowledge of Australian mining electrical standards
• Experience managing budgets and technical reports
• Proven stakeholder engagement across multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and governance for electrical asset management across site operations
• Ensure electrical infrastructure and assets are operated, maintained and improved in accordance with safety, reliability and performance objectives
• Lead investigations into electrical incidents, equipment failures and operational risks, implementing effective corrective actions
• Develop, review and approve electrical engineering standards, procedures and technical documentation
• Provide expert advice on LV and HV power systems, electrical design and asset lifecycle management
• Support major projects, capital works and operational improvement initiatives from concept through to commissioning
• Drive continuous improvement in electrical safety, compliance and engineering best practices
• Monitor compliance with relevant legislation, standards and site electrical management systems
• Lead and mentor electrical engineering personnel while fostering a high-performance and safety-focused culture
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance and leadership teams to optimise asset reliability, availability and operational performance.
