Qualifications

• Experience as an electrical/electronics engineer in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Experience developing production test fixtures.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer.
• Practical approach to troubleshooting, testing and manufacturing improvement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with design teams, production staff and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Support the outsourcing of cable and wiring loom manufacture, including technical requirements and supplier coordination.
• Collaborate with the design team to improve manufacturability and scale production within a high‑mix, low‑volume environment.
• Develop production test fixtures and batch testing processes.
• Design and conduct test procedures for PCBAs.
• Conduct component substitution studies to assess suitable alternatives.
• Support the engineering change process, incorporating feedback from production and assembly teams.
