Job summary

Marathon Electric Australia Limited - Rowville VIC is seeking a Production Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our Melbourne-based engineering team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role spans mechanical/electrical design, CAD, fan testing, EC motor diagnostics and SAP migration support.

The successful candidate will work independently and in teams across engineering tasks, with a practical hands-on approach and a focus on data integrity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in a production/manufacturing engineering role.
• Exposure to fan performance testing using air flow chambers or wind tunnels and AMCA standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed engineering drawings, 3D models and renders using CAD software.
• Determine dimensions, material requirements, weight, and fluid dynamics parameters.
• Design and document engineering processes and layouts for product development and manufacturing.
• Assess stakeholder requirements and provide technically appropriate product recommendations.
• Ensure designs comply with regulations, standards and quality requirements.
• Perform fan performance testing to AMCA standards and report findings.
