Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, delivery and commissioning of electrical systems across the Wyaralong project in Queensland, Australia. You will prepare electrical designs, drawings, calculations and specifications to meet Australian Standards and project requirements.

You will collaborate with process, mechanical, civil, structural and instrumentation teams, assist procurement, construction and handover, and contribute to safe, efficient project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in electrical engineering on infrastructure or water projects.
• Working knowledge of Australian Standards and electrical codes.
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Engineers Australia membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support design and delivery of electrical systems across the project.
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, calculations and specifications.
• Provide input into selection of switchboards, transformers and cabling.
• Coordinate electrical scope with mechanical, civil and process disciplines.
• Support procurement through technical specifications and vendor review.
• Respond to RFIs and resolve site-based technical issues.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
