Job summary

Crossmuller is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering Projects team on the Central Coast, NSW. You will design, develop and supervise installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment across construction and infrastructure projects.

You will plan electrical infrastructure, prepare diagrams and schedules, select major components, interpret standards, perform calculations and coordinate delivery with construction and commissioning teams, while ensuring

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineer qualification required.
• Experience in trouble shooting, problem solving and fault finding.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and supervise installation, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment, machines and systems.
• Plan and design electrical infrastructure including generators, transformers, switchgear and protection systems.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, schematics, layouts and cable schedules.
• Select and size major electrical components per project requirements and standards.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, Australian Standards, codes and regulations.
• Perform electrical engineering calculations to ensure safe, compliant designs.
• Coordinate delivery and installation schedules with construction and commissioning programmes.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults and improve reliability and safety.
• Work in a team with focus on safety and quality workmanship.
