Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a major mining operator in Western Australia to recruit an experienced Electrical Engineer. The role focuses on supporting ongoing operations and projects while enabling effective communication between Chinese- and English-speaking stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, solid organisation and the ability to work in a fast-paced mining environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or recognised professional qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Chinese and English - essential.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, SAP and business software.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering and technical support across operational and project activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Facilitate effective communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking stakeholders.
• Assist with project planning, documentation, reporting and coordination.
• Utilise SAP, Microsoft Office and other relevant systems to maintain accurate records and support operational activities.
• Ensure engineering activities align with relevant safety, quality and operational standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.
