Job summary

Minetek is seeking a mid-level to senior engineer to join our Australia-wide team, splitting time between Prestons production facility and our North Sydney office. The role spans the full engineering lifecycle from production support to project delivery and commissioning.

You will collaborate with engineers and technicians to deliver safe, compliant electrical installations across Australia, diagnose faults, and prepare technical documentation while contributing to optimized workflows and client

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in a field-based role within an industrial engineering or mining organisation.
• Prior site or commissioning experience is highly advantageous.
• Working knowledge of Australian electrical standards, including AS3000, AS5368 AS3008, and AS61439.
• Strong understanding of electrical installations with the ability to diagnose faults effectively.
• Extensive experience with low and medium voltage switchgear and electrical system operations.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, including ITPs, O&M manuals, commissioning documents, and project reports.
• Diverse skills in automation and control systems.

Responsibilities

The Role:

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute across the full engineering lifecycle, from production support through to project delivery and commissioning.
