Job summary

Century Yuasa Batteries is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Power Systems division in Carole Park. You will contribute to world-class product and system design, development, documentation and training, ensuring on-time and on-cost delivery of projects.

Our expertise lies in the design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, safe decommissioning and maintenance of Intelepower Industrial Power Systems.

The role

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Power Systems division, the successful applicant will work across world class Product and System Design and Development, Documentation and Training services to ensure on-time and on-cost delivery of products and services. You will be based out of our Carole Park facility and be reporting into the National Engineering Manager and working as part of a small team of highly skilled, like-minded Engineers who love what they do.We also manufacture our products on site and install them ourselves, so you will be involved for the full life cycle of each project.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree (preferably Electrical), Engineering Associate Diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized Tertiary Institution
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in both electrical and mechanical product and system design in the same or related areas
• Member of Engineers Australia (Or willingness to obtain)
• Strong communication and customer service skills (written and verbal)
• Medium – Advanced computer skills (Microsoft office)
• Excellent Attention to Detail, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to travel interstate and overseas as required
• Previous experience in high current / low voltage DC Systems and equipment including batteries
