NES Fircroft is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its South-West Brisbane water infrastructure team. You will deliver electrical designs for industrial and water projects, with exposure to PLC/SCADA integration and various control systems.
You will work across project stages from design through commissioning, collaborating with clients, site personnel and automation specialists, with opportunities for progression and broader technical exposure in a growing business.
NES Fircroft has partnered with a well-established electrical contractor and engineering business delivering projects across the infrastructure and industrial sectors, to identify an Electrical Engineer for their Water Infrastructure Business Unit in South-West Brisbane.
This is an opportunity to step into a role where no two projects are necessarily the same. While your core focus will remain within electrical engineering, the nature of the work means you’ll have the opportunity to get involved across different stages of projects, work alongside experienced engineers and automation specialists, and build an understanding of how electrical and control systems come together in a live project environment.
What makes the opportunity interesting is the level of exposure available. You won’t be confined to one system, client or way of working. Depending on the projects you become involved in, there is the potential to gain experience across different technologies, platforms and environments, including Schneider and Siemens.
For an engineer who enjoys learning and wants to continue developing technically, this provides an opportunity to broaden your skill set while gaining valuable exposure to the full project lifecycle, from design and engineering through to testing and commissioning.
There is also an exciting element of progression to the role. As you build your knowledge and become more involved across projects, there is scope to take on greater responsibility and develop into areas that may not have been part of your experience to date. The business is continuing to grow, and the opportunity is there to grow alongside it.
